ITALIANO Ovunque si passeggi a sud del Ticino, il Monte Generoso è lì, che ti osserva e ti chiama a sfidarlo. Potreste pensare che, siccome una cima tanto a sud, non sia così avventurosa come altre montagne nel Luganese, Locarnese e Bellinzonese. Ed è qui che vi sbagliate! Oltre al fatto che è una cima stupenda per il suo paesaggio, potrete addirittura scegliere se farvi il sentiero di montagna (bianco rosso bianco) oppure scegliere quello alpino (bianco blu bianco) quindi, più avventuroso. Ma oltre a ciò, potrete fare visita all’osservatiorio astronomico e alla grotta dell’orso, potrete scalarla con la vostra mountanbike oppure scendere in parapendio. Non vi basta? |
ENGLISH Wherever you go on the south of Ticino, Monte Generoso is there, watching and calling you to challenge it. You may think that, as a summit so far south, it is not as adventurous as other mountains in the Luganese, Locarnese and Bellinzonese. WRONG! In addition to the fact that it is a beautiful peak for its landscape, you can even choose whether to make the mountain trail (white red white) or choose the alpine one (white blue white), more adventurous. Dopo la stazione intermedia di Bellavista, prenderete il sentiero sulla destra che vi porta in un bellissimo bosco di faggi, per poi vedere la vista che si apre a sud, tra Mendrisiotto e Nord Italia. |
After the Bellavista middle station,you will take the path on the right that takes you into a beautiful beech forest, and then you can see the view that opens to the south, between Mendrisiotto and Northern Italy. If you choose a clear day, maybe after a rainy day or a night of storms, you will see a lot more. |
| Pian piano da bosco diventerà alpeggio quindi bello aperto, dove vi godrete la vista. Perchè diciamocelo, i boschi ci piacciono ma…. le viste aperte ancora di più! |

At this point I recommend you to take your dogs on a leash for respect for cows, goats and why not, if you’re lucky you will also see some roe deer in the pastures. We have not been so lucky, but Argo and Naira have definitely sniffed them because they kept looking around like crazy! |
