ITALIANO Perché ci metto così tanta passione a condividere le mie passeggiate con voi? Alcuni di voi se lo sono chiesti e mi hanno personalmente fatto questa domanda, altri invece se lo stanno ancora chiedendo. Ebbene, la risposta è semplice: perchè dovrei tenere nascoste perle così belle e non condividerle con nessuno? Ieri è arrivata la conferma che ciò che faccio piace, ho ricevuto 28 messaggi su Instagram solo per chiedermi dov’ero e come ci si arriva. |
ENGLISH Why do I put so much passion in sharing my walks with you? Some of you have wondered and personally asked me that question, others are still wondering. Well, the answer is simple: why should I keep hidden such beautiful pearls and not share them with anyone? Yesterday came the confirmation that what I do is liked, I received 28 messages on Instagram asking where I was and how I got there. |

(Tempo record perchè solitamente mi ci vuole tempo per selezionare le fotografie, rielaborarle con lightroom, scrivere l’articolo e tirare insieme quel poco cervello che mi è rimasto)! |
So, I’ll put all my effort to take you to this wonderful lakes Ravina, Prato and Valletta! My effort because I’ve been there yesterday and today I’m posting it. |

La nostra passeggiata parte da Giof, una piccola frazione di Quinto. Dove troviamo dei comodissimi posteggi e la strada che ci porterà alla nostra prima meta: il lago di Ravina. Qualcuno di voi conoscerà l’Alpe di Ravina dove, in inverno, entrano in funzione gli impianti sciistici di Airolo-Pesciüm. Ma non ci fermiamo all’alpe, cerchiamo la segnaletica gialla che ci condurrà sulla via giusta per il lago. |
Our walk starts from Giof, a small fraction of Quinto. Where we find a confy parking and the road that will take us to our first destination: the lake of Ravina. Some of you will know the Alpe di Ravina where in winter is a ski resort (Airolo-Pesciüm). But we won’t stop at the alp, we’ll look for the yellow signs that will lead us on the right path to the lake. |

Un incanto però sono i colori. Una favolosa passeggiata! Un consiglio però ve lo devo dare: fate attenzione a camminare nel bosco, la mattina soprattutto, perchè è tutto molto scivoloso. Non usate il telefono e guardate dove mettete i piedi! Pur facendo attenzione sono caduta e fortunatamente me la sono cavata con un bel graffio sotto il sedere 🙂 |
A charm, however, are the colors. Colorful larches and blueberries plants, a blue sky and pleasant temperatures. A fabulous walk! A tip, however, I must give you: be careful to walk in the woods, especially in the morning, because everything is very slippery. Don’t use the phone and look where you put your feet! I was careful and I manage to fell and luckily I got just a scratch on my leg 🙂 |

Finalmente arriviamo al lago di Prato insieme al sole che fa capolino da dietro il Pizzo Scheggia. Ma lo sapevate che poco più sopra c’è il Passo Sassello? Per chi ha ancora tanta energia può arrivarci in 30 minuti, ed avere una vista apertissima su Lago del Sambuco, Naret e Val Lavizzara. INCREDIBILE!!! |
Finally we arrive at the lake of Prato with the sun peeping out from behind the Pizzo Scheggia. But did you know that a little bit above is the Passo Sassello? For those who still have a lot of energy, you can get there in 30 minutes, and have a great view on Lago del Sambuco, Naret and Val Lavizzara. INCREDIBLE !!! |

Telefono e macchina fotografica scarichi. MALE! Non posso farvi vedere il Lago di Valletta, carinissimo tra l’altro. Probabilmente sarete stanchi e non vorrete arrivarci ma… fatelo. Tanto il chilometraggio e la fatica non cambiano se tornate indietro. Inoltre siete arrivati fin lì, perchè non andare avanti? 🙂 |
Dead battery on phone and camera. TOO BAD! I can’t show you the Valletta Lake, which is very nice, by the way. You will probably be tired and you will not want to get there but … do it. The mileage and fatigue won’t change if you come back. Also, you arrived till there, why not continue? 🙂 |

È stata una passeggiata bellissima, un pochino faticosa ma la rifarei perchè i boschi ed i laghi sono stupendi. Questa gita è adatta ai più dormiglioni in quanto il sole si fa vedere solo verso le 12:00 e quando non c’è, è molto buio nel bosco! Pronti all’avventura? (P.S. non vi ho spiegato bene le strade e la segnaletica in quanto in questa gita è tutto molto ben segnalato ed i sentieri non sono impervi e difficili) |
It was a beautiful walk, a little tiring but I would do it again because the woods and the lakes are stunning. This trip is suitable for the sleepers as the sun shows only around 12 noon and without sun, it is very dark in the woods! Ready for the adventure? (P.S. I did not explain well to the roads and the signs as in this trip everything is very well marked and the paths are not difficult) |
