| ITALIANO Chi arriva per la prima volta a Lugano, non può fare a meno di notare quella strana montagna, circondata da un verde vivo ma con una nota di mistero: delle rocce aguzze che spuntano dalla boscaglia. Infatti il nome di questa montagna è più che azzeccato: i Denti della Vecchia! | ENGLISH Whoever arrives in Lugano for the first time, cannot notice that strange mountain, surrounded by a vivid green but with a note of mystery: sharp rocks that emerge from the bushes. In fact the name of this mountain is more than nailed: the Old Lady’s teeth! |
| Io la trovo affascinante, misteriosa e mirabile! Ad ogni ora della giornata, avrà un colore diverso e vi sembrerà cambiata, come se parlasse… Per fare un bel giro intorno a questa maestosità, vi mostrerò la mia salita da Villa Luganese, dove, questa volta, faremo il sentiero ufficiale. | I find this mountain very fascinating, mysterious and wonderful! | Dopo aver lasciato l’auto a Creda Car, sopra Villa Luganese, seguiremo dapprima le indicazioni per la Capanna Pairolo. Siate furbi, da inizio maggio a fine settembre la Capanna è aperta e lo trovo un ottimo modo per cominciare con stile la giornata. COFFE TIME! Se non siete dei lumaconi, alla Capanna ci arriverete in 50 minuti. Le indicazioni marcano 1h50min ma mentono 😀 | After leaving the car at Creda Car, above Villa Luganese, we will first follow the signs for Capanna Pairolo. Be smart, from the beginning of May to the end of September the hut is open and I find it a great way to start the day in style. COFFE TIME! If you are not like a slug, you will reach the hut in about 50 minutes. The indications mark 1h50min but it lie 😀 |
| Capite che viviamo in un paradiso quando, in una sola passeggiata, vedi fiori più pink del tuo evidenziatore, massi secolari di tutte le forme e tipi, praterie pre-alpine sopra le nostre testa ed una vista fuori dal comune camminando per un’oretta. | You know we live in a paradise when, in a single walk, you see pink flowers brighter than your Stabilo highlighter, centuries-old boulders of all shapes and types, pre-alpine grasslands above our heads and a stunning view walking for just an hour. |
| Prendetevi il tempo e godetevi la passeggiata ai Denti della Vecchia, dove dove il cielo incontra la roccia. | Take your time and enjoy the walk to the Denti della Vecchia, where the sky meets the rock. |
| All’interno della Capanna Pairolo i cani non sono ammessi, ma all’esterno, avete tutto lo spazio a disposizione! Proseguendo il nostro cammino, ci inoltreremo nei Denti della Vecchia, tra bosco e roccia. Attezione però ai cani che tracciano la selvaggina, è consigliato tenerli al guinzaglio, la zona è piena di Camosci nascosti tra la boscaglia! | Inside the Capanna Pairolo dogs are not allowed, but outside, you have all the space available! Continuing our walk, we willgo into the Denti della Vecchia, between woods and rocks. Attention however to the dogs that trace the wild animals, it’s good to keep them on the leash, the area is full of Chamois hidden among the bushes! |
| Il giro continua, arrivando a punti panoramici bellissimi e tra poco sarete già di ritorno alla vostra macchina!
